About Us
We are a family business from Kitzbühel that was managed for over 40 years by Kaspar Frauenschuh and his sister Theresia Frauenschuh-Broz. FRAUENSCHUH stands for timeless and luxurious women's and men's clothing. Specially developed high-tech materials such as premium softshell or nylon quilt are combined with traditional fabrics like loden and wool, creating an unmistakable FRAUENSCHUH silhouette that is known worldwide.
Meanwhile, the third generation has joined the company and is ushering in a new era. With the same drive and values with which Kaspar and Theresia took over the company from the first generation, the five act to the best of their knowledge and belief, entirely in the spirit of the FRAUENSCHUH philosophy.
Kaspar Frauenschuh
took over the ladies' shoe business 50 years ago. He is passionately dedicated to the craftsmanship of tanning and leather processing. As one of the few who still learned the tanning profession, he uses his knowledge to reinterpret this centuries-old art ecologically and ethically. Kaspar has handed over the management to his son but is still responsible for the special lambskin and leather clothing.
Theresia Frauenschuh-Brož
is the face of the Frauenschuh store in Josef-Herold-Straße in Kitzbühel. She was there from the very beginning and, with her many years of expertise in customer consultation and product knowledge, has become indispensable. She continues to create a warm atmosphere in the store and personally advises Frauenschuh customers.
Andrea Frauenschuh
is Kaspar's wife and has been an important part of the company for 40 years. For years, she has maintained contact with curated, international brands to supplement the collections with exceptional products. Additionally, she expands the Frauenschuh range with her own special handicrafts.
Simon Frauenschuh
He became self-employed at an early age and thus gained external experience. He completed an international education and proved himself in several large corporations. His love for the Alps and the European fashion world drew him back to Kitzbühel, where he joined the family business. Initially, he focused on serving external customers and familiarizing himself with various departments within the company. Subsequently, he became Managing Director, driving the traditional Frauenschuh vision forward with a fresh perspective.
Lauren Frauenschuh
completed her international studies in fashion design with a focus on knitwear. After gaining work experience at renowned fashion houses, she also rejoined the family business Frauenschuh. She has taken over creative direction and is bringing new and fresh impetus to Frauenschuh. Her unique ideas for drawings and cuts are developed in her own studio.
Marie-Paule Frauenschuh
As the youngest member of the Frauenschuh family, she shares a deep passion for the company philosophy and aims to transfer this to the gastronomy and wellness sectors in the future. With an international business degree as her foundation and experience in marketing, she organized this year's Frauenschuh campaigns. Now, she continues her education in Fashion Experience Management to further deepen her knowledge and gain new experience.
