Kaspar enters the business and opens the first fashion boutique, driven by an uncompromising commitment to quality. With a keen eye for emerging designers, he brings brands like Jil Sander, Helmut Lang, Armani, Prada, and Gucci to Kitzbühel.
1984
The new Frauenschuh Sportswear Store is born from the idea of selling high-quality, functional sportswear.
1988
Kaspar Frauenschuh marries Andrea, who has supported him ever since and gives him strength for new decisions.
1997
The famous Ladyslipper fleece is coming to market. Due to the material's low thickness, it is very lightweight yet still keeps you warm.
1998
Frauenschuh receives its first international awards for quality and design, further establishing the brand as a symbol of alpine, understated luxury and making its name synonymous with exclusive, timeless fashion.
2005-2007
In 2005 and 2007, Frauenschuh received the Global + Style Award for outstanding design and uncompromising quality. The brand collaborates with renowned photographers such as Markus C. Jahns and Gilles Bensimon.
2010
A highlight is the legendary photo shoot with the famous actress and model Lauren Hutton in Kitzbühel.
2010-2020
Frauenschuh's international presence grows considerably this decade. The brand appears in leading publications, including on the cover of Vogue Italia, solidifying its position in the global luxury landscape. This increased visibility opens up new markets and strengthens the brand's worldwide recognition.
2011
The Frauenschuh store in Kitzbühel is being renovated. Across four different floors, fascinating illuminations and visualizations will be created.
2014
The 40th anniversary of the company "Das Fest" will be celebrated at the Country Club in Kitzbühel.
2018
The office building in Kitzbühel is being redesigned. New premises for a studio and a modern kitchen are being created.
2020
Jakob Frauenschuh has been working in process management for many years, and now the rest of the next generation is joining the company. With Lauren Frauenschuh and Elisabeth Frauenschuh-Broz, the company gains designers, and with Simon Frauenschuh, a sales representative.
2022
From the Alps to the urban world: We are delighted to open the first FRAUENSCHUH store in Munich at Residenzstraße 23.
2023
Simon Frauenschuh assumes sole responsibility as CEO, strengthening strategic and operational leadership and expanding the brand's global presence – including the Asia-Pacific market and the opening of new stores in Munich and Andermatt. At the same time, Lauren Frauenschuh becomes Creative Director, bringing a fresh, innovative design perspective. Together, they are leading the brand into a new era of creativity, international growth, and alpine luxury.
